Amends the CPRA, requiring members of the California Privacy Protection Agency to have expertise in privacy, technology and consumer rights.
Amends the CCPA and CPRA, adding a new provision giving a consumer the right to request that a business that collects personal information about the consumer disclose whether it is using the personal information for a political purpose.
It would also require certain disclosures to consumers upon receipt of a verifiable consumer request and to regulatory authorities.
