Israeli cybersecurity company Memcyco has raised $10 million in a seed funding round led by Capri Ventures and Venture Guides. Memcyco, founded in 2021 and based in Tel Aviv, offers an authenticity platform that safeguards organizations and users from phishing attacks and website impersonation, also known as brandjacking.
The platform utilizes artificial intelligence to analyze behavioral patterns and provide real-time detection capabilities.
Memcyco’s proof of source authenticity (PoSA) solution not only identifies attacks and provides details to brands but also warns users to ensure their protection. To enhance site authenticity, PoSA incorporates a customizable digital watermark that visitors can personalize with their secret information, making it impossible to forge.
This solution enhances customer trust in digital interactions and strengthens brand reputation.
CEO and co-founder of Memcyco, Israel Mazin, stated that their approach introduces a new paradigm for preventing website impersonation, offering multiple layers of protection for both companies and their customers.
The $10 million funding round signifies a strong vote of confidence in Memcyco’s ability to provide a secure and trustworthy digital ecosystem.
